Poem#1 The Sea

 The Sea

-By Rithika Anand

The tender breeze,and

Whiff of sea

Revoke a child,

Hidden in me.

My soul, I left

Locked in a chest,

Plunging down, the

Deep blue sea.

Crystals, I find

Of varying size,

Shells I hide,

From kin of mine

Oh Salty sea!

Rejuvenate me,

Wash away the sins,

That are Rotting me.

The Blowing horn, of

A far away ship

Calls me for an,

Around the world trip!

Alone yet, not lonely

Singing back to your

Heartfelt symphony.

Feet rub against sand,

Hands dig for treasures left behind.

Unsung stories, Unsaid feelings,

Fade away, as Hearts seal.

Every tear ever shed,

Love and Hope you have fed.

Gratitude returns, when flesh turns ash.

Back into your arms, that welcomes us.
